This little sweetie is Foxy, called Hope in her passport. Foxy is an is 11 months old and is in foster in Gloucestershire. Foxy arrived in foster on 25th July and is living with 6 dogs and 2 teenagers. She is playful and friendly, and friendly with new people she meets., but she is nervous too of sudden movements, and must have been hit in the past.
Foxy is a pretty girl (who does resemble a small fox)! She has golden fur, with black flecks, and a black muzzle, and long legs. She has a slight build. She weighs 6.9kg, but she is on the skinny side and should put on a kilo or two.
Foxy is yet another dog who was abandoned and found in a field in Romania. It is difficult for us to understand the mentality of so many Romanian people.
We know nothing about Foxy’s past, so we want to find a family for her that gives her the time she needs to get used to her new life. She will need to become used to a wide range of events, environments and situations. She might be great at agility with her slight build. A garden will be essential for her as will a friendly active dog.
Foxy is now good on a lead and loves her walks! She is clean in the house. She will need to be trained in all other aspects. Any resident children need to be gentle, dog savvy and over 11 years old, as she cannot be tested with young children. She would be best suited to a home without cats as she did not get on with Jo’s cat.
Foxy is fully vaccinated, microchipped and has a passport. Homecheck and adoption fees apply.
