Franklin – 1-2 year old male Terrier cross Collie

Franklin is a 1/2 year old Male Terrier cross Collie. He is a fantastic chap, who sits for a treat and gives you his paw. He’s very clean in his kennel and loves going for walks along the lane where he behaves well when meeting other dogs, both those he knows and new ones. When we bring him into the kitchen, he will happily sit on your knee to have a cuddle without trying to wriggle off. He’s very mature and sensible for his young age and although he doesn’t seem to have strong terrier instincts out on his walks, we would prefer a home without cats just to be on the safe side.

[rehomed]

He recently went to a home for a short while and settled in brilliantly but their circumstances changed unexpectedly and they could no longer keep him – they were very sad to bring him back to us. As he’s lived in a home, he is used to all the things a pet dog needs to know like house training, being left for short periods, settling down in his cosy bed etc. He’s only about a year old, so plenty young enough to find his forever home and be someone’s best friend for many years to come.

He would prefer a quiet child free calm home with people who understand rescue dogs and can give him the time to settle in, he is fine with other dogs and very sweet. wont live with cats. He is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and vet checked.
