He was recently rescued after being ferociously attacked by a pack of street dogs which left him in a very critical condition. He has now fully recovered and was in a foster home with children and a cat. He could therefore live with quieter respectful children and cats.

He is still nervous of other dogs but would probably be okay to live with other calm dogs like himself. Freckles is described as being gentle and cuddly and loves belly rubs.

He would love a family who will understand his nervousness around other dogs and not have high expectations of him to socialize and greet every dog he meets. Freckles is currently in Oman so it would take about 3-4 months before he could travel to the UK.

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Home checks apply and full post adoption support is offered.

Our dogs are rescued from the streets of Oman where they live terrible lives, often suffering abuse, starvation, fatal car accidents and victims of shootings.

They’re primarily wadi dogs, a type of mixed breed sighthound and make wonderful pets. They’re incredibly loyal, loving and intelligent.
