Fred – 1 year old male Lurcher

Meet Fred, a one year old male Lurcher (we think predominantly Saluki), who’s looking for a new home after being found abandoned and brought into us for rehoming. Fred walks well on a lead, travels well in a car and public transport, and loves to play! Fred is crate trained and loves to snooze wherever he gets the chance.

GREAT NEWS! This Dog Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use on a daily basis, this dog has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more dogs still looking though…

Allow us to find your new PERFECT canine friend with our matchmaker service. Enter your details below to receive a tailored, hand-picked list of available dogs for adoption…

When out and about, Fred is great with other dogs and loves to say hi and play, he is also sharing a temporary foster home with a calm female dog, so therefore could find his forever home with a calm female dog of similar size.

Ideally, Fred is looking for a home with direct access to a garden, and owned or had experience with Lurcher in the past. As Fred is an active breed, he is looking for someone able to walk him at least an hour and a half a day. In his forever home, Fred could live with children over the age of 12 (no cats please).

If you would like to adopt Fred, please fill out a rehoming questionnaire and a member of the team will get in contact within 48 hours.

Fred is 68cm from feet to shoulders. Please note, some of the pictures below show Fred with a bandage on his foot. When he arrived into our care, he had a small wound on his foot which has now been treated.
