Meet Fred; he is a five and a half year old castrated male German Shepherd that was brought back to us in July 2006, as his owner was pregnant. Fred is a friendly affectionate nice natured lad that loves human company – a real handsome chap.

He is very long-haired so will require regular grooming. He is a sweet companion that is looking for someone that could include him in their day-to-day activities. He is calm when left with his toys to amuse himself. He knows some of his basic commands is a playful lad in a kind of boisterous way loving to play with tennis balls however he is not good at retrieving! He is funny with other dogs when out on the lead but not aggressive just protective over his owner.

Fred has had to have half of his tail amputated, which has healed up quite nicely now. He is not great with other dogs so needs to go as the only dog in the house, he is not good with cats and is seeking a new home where any children are aged 10+. He is intimidated by kennel life so does not show himself off very well – but look beyond that and you will see a great dog.

Can you give our nice natured lad a new home where he could be your constant companion?
