Freya is a 2-3-year-old female cross-breed currently residing with the team at Azil Dubrovnik in Croatia.
On Valentine’s Day, she was discovered abandoned with her puppy, Amor, in the middle of nowhere. It was a harrowing experience as Freya, understandably protective of her little one, ran in panic, taking hours to be caught.
Eventually, with enough courage, she allowed rescuers to approach and save her baby.
Her past life remains a mystery, but she’s been promised the best from now on, with hopes of finding her forever home soon.
Initially shy, Freya has a remarkably gentle and affectionate character. Despite whatever hardships she may have faced, she adores people unconditionally.
Cuddling is one of her favorite activities, and she appreciates every gentle touch she receives.
