Fritz is a 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed. Fritz and his brother were found as puppies of only 2.5 months wandering on the streets in a village of Northern Spain. The people of the village didn’t want to have them around and they were almost overrun by a car until a person called the dog catchers and they were taken to a pound. When we saw them we knew they wouldn’t survive in the bad conditions of the pound and took them out into a boarding kennel.
After a time Fritz’s brother had the luck to be adopted and Fritz was left behind and became very sad. It wasn’t easy for Fritz to be separated from his brother but at the beginning of this year he had the luck to get into foster care in Leeds (UK). There he was happy again, sharing plays and cuddles with another dog and his foster mum. His foster mum describes him as a big sweetheart, because with his 35kg of weight and 61cm of shoulder height he is a large dog.
Fritz is now 1.5 years old and a super lovely, social and affectionate boy who never would hurt a fly. He is obedient, housetrained, knows how to walk on the lead and also knows basic commands. A few months ago Fritz began to have seizures. He was taken to the veterinarian and some tests were done. The vet’s diagnosis was that he has epilepsy. Since then he is under treatment, which will be for life, but that is not a handicap for him and he is making a completely normal and happy life like every other dog too.
Fritz is a dog which has a lot of love to give and let you forget the bad things which you had on a day. He always puts a smile on your face. If you are interested in offering Fritz the forever home he is looking for please get in touch with us.
