Gala is a 5 year old female Spanish Galgo. She came from Valladolid and was thankfully saved by Galgos en Familia.
Gala arrived and was very shy and distrustful but she has changed so much, now she is a beautiful gala, affectionate, funny, curious, nice, obedient.
Gala gets on very well with other dogs, she is a sweetheart. Gala arrived with a limp on her right leg and the specialist decided that she needed an Arthrodesis.
Gala is everything went well but soon complications transpired and she had many skin problems, due to bacteria.
Gala was on antibiotics and frequent bandage changes but her body was seemingly rejecting the surgery. Sadly the best course of action was amputation.
Gala has adapted incredibly well – she has such an amazing character. She will be in the UK in June 2023!
