Gelert is a 2 year old male Sarplaninac. His markings are like marble and he is one of the most beautiful larger dogs you will ever see. Gelert was born with a forelimb deformity, which was amputated when he injured himself.
However, as he was never able to use the leg, he has nothing new to learn.
Gelert lives up to his name being loyal dependable and true, his rescuer even thinks he can be introduced (correctly)to cats because he has shown no aggression toward any other living creature.
He is fully grown but may fill out a bit with exercise and a good diet. A big softy, Gelert is available for immediate adoption to the right home.
