Gesztenye is a beautiful 2-year-old medium-sized brindle girl with the sweetest soul. She adores people, loves playing with other dogs and greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a hopeful smile.
For over two years, Gesztenye and her sister Zserbo have shared everything. They were rescued together from a kill shelter when they were only a few weeks old. They grew up side by side, slept in the same kennel, and waited together for someone to finally choose them.
Now Zserbo’s dream has come true. She has found a wonderful family in the UK.
But little Gesztenye will soon watch her sister leave… and for the first time in her life, she will be alone.
She has so much love to give and asks for so little in return – just a family to call her own.
Gesztenye is friendly with dogs and would happily live with another canine companion. She is affectionate, playful and kind natured, and can also live with older dog-savvy children.
Cat potential can be tested.
She’s looking for a home where she will be part of family life and not left alone for long periods.
Like all rescue dogs, Gesztenye will need time, patience and love, but in return she will give you her whole heart.
Gesztenye is currently in Hungary and is ready to travel to the UK as soon as her forever family finds her.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, treated for parasites, comes with and EU pet passport.
