Ghalia is a 3 year old female Saluki Cross. She is currently located in Oman. Ghalia was rescued last year after she was found in poor condition on the streets with her four puppies. Sadly, they all had the Parvo virus and two of her pups passed away.

Ghalia and her remaining two pups went into the care of a local rescuer before coming to our shelter. She did spend some time in a foster home last year which she loved – it took her no time at all to find the sofa and comfortable spots!

So, it’s sad that she’s now back at our shelter. Ghalia adores people! She would suit a home where she will have company throughout the day. She’s very low energy and likes to spend her days relaxing.

Ghalia is very good to take out on the lead and doesn’t pull. Ghalia is mixed with the other dogs at the shelter and gets along with them fine but she’s not interested in other dogs.

The foster family brought their dog to Oman from India and Ghalia was very jealous and never got used to the idea of living with another dog which is why she came back to our shelter.

Ghalia would therefore be best as the only dog in the home and not be required to socialize with other dogs.

Ghalia could live with dog-savvy/ experienced children aged 8+ as long as she has a quiet place to take herself off to if she wants. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready to travel to the UK now.
