Gitano is a grandpa, and that’s why we cannot leave him in the shelter please Gitano has been surrendered because now he’s not able to run as fast as he used to, he’s not able to hunt as well as he used to, he’s not “useful” anymore.
Gitano is being treated by the vet because he arrived with a problem in his gallbladder and he will have it removed as soon as he puts a bit of weight on it. Gitano is not a young dog, he’s not “brand new”.
He won’t live forever, he won’t be jumping or playing or pulling on the lead, or having fun nonstop.
Gitano is old and has sad eyes and likes gentle walks, gentle strokes, good food, relaxation and being treated with the dignity that he probably never had in his life.
