Goldie is a medium-sized eighteen month old male Cross-Breed. He was brought to the UK by another rescue a few months ago. He was placed straight into an inexperienced home without any previous assessment or training and unfortunately the combination only resulted in Goldie escaping and being on the run for a time.
Professional trappers caught him and he was brought into our care for some rehabilitation prior to being put up for adoption. Goldie fostered Norwich Norfolk. After much work Goldie is now a very different and more stable dog who understands about being a domestic dog and is ready to find the right home.
Goldie is a fairly active dog who spends most of his day playing with the other dogs in his foster home and we will only consider a home for him that already has an existing dog to play with and learn from.
Goldie is weary of children so would like a home with no children under twelve. He loves his walks and will need to continue building confidence in the big outside world. Goldie has lived with cats and is perfectly okay with them.
Goldie is a really lovely boy who is still wary of strangers but will now approach the people he loves and ask for a fuss. He loves his food so gaining his trust and training is made much easier by this.
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered). If you are interested please message or call between 9am to 5pm Mon – Fri 9am to 4pm Sat.
