Grace is a 4 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Grace has come to us to find her new home as she is no longer required for breeding. She is very nervous and knows nothing about life in the home or walking on a lead. She will need patient owners who have the time to allow her to settle and find herself. She takes time to settle with other dogs so will be best homed with an unobtrusive calm gentle canine companion, she would not cope with a dog who was too active and who was overly interested in interactive play.
As she is nervous a quieter adult home would be best, older teenagers would be fine provided they understood she is nervous and will take time to settle. A few accidents should be expected initially whilst Grace settles in. Her foster is working on her lead training with her but it is expected that this training will need to continue in her new home, previous experience of very nervous ex breeding dogs would be great.
Grace will take time and patience and needs owners dedicated to helping her on her journey to relaxation and calmness. She is not a ready made dog and anyone applying for her needs to be prepared for the time it will take her to complete her journey and evolve into a happy and relaxed much loved pet.
She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. Grace is currently being fostered in currently being fostered in Leighton Buzzard. Home check and set donation applies.
