Gus, aged 2 years and Olive aged 1 year, are male and female Cross-Breeds from Romania. Both are now looking for new homes through no fault of their own – unfortunately a young family member has developed severe allergies. Gus is the longer haired dog, with pretty Olive with the tan coat.
Both are small-ish dogs and are friendly, affectionate and are happy to meet new people. Both could still do with building on their basic training in some areas – Olive’s recall can be ropey and Gus can be nervous of new dogs at first when out and about.
We are seeking a savvy home that is willing to help these two gain confidence and continue their training. Although these two have lived together for over a year and we would love to rehome them together, we do think they could be adopted separately to the right homes.
They would both likely benefit from having a calm and friendly canine companion in the home from whom they can learn the ropes, but equally would be okay in a dog savvy home. Both have lived with children, so with the appropriate introductions could live with older dog savvy children.
We are seeking a local adoption for each dog, or at least an adopter who is willing to travel to visit a couple of times, in order to help with the transition as this may be hard for them.
