Habana is a beautiful 2 year old female German Shepherd Dog. She is the mum of the puppies that we have recently shared with you. How can we describe her? She is a fighter and a survivor.
Habana was alone with her puppies in the forest, in an area with difficult access, that is why the puppies could not be rescued until they were 1.5 months old. She could not be trapped when the puppies where collected by the workers of the pound, it was not until a month after that she could be rescued thanks to a trap cage.
Habana is distrustful at the beginning, but she soon gains confidence and enjoys the cuddles. The person that decides to adopt her will need to give her some time to adjust and respect her rhythm. She is a sweet girl. We are looking for adopters with experience in this breed, that know the Shepherd dogs and know how to fulfill the necessities of a dog like her.
Habana is currently in the pound, but reserved for us, which means that she is under our care even if she is staying there, and that we provide food, vet, etc to her. She has not been tested with cats. Please refrain families with kids.
Habana is still a young dog, with great potential in the correct hands. She could travel to the UK in October. She has been dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and has a passport. She has also been neutered and tested to Mediterranean diseases, with negative results.
