Haiduc is a medium sized 7 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a lucky dog, saved from the Public Shelter in spring 2015, he then survived distemper. We initially met Haiduc in May 2015 during our visit to the Public Shelter, he was friendly and so full of life and even now, is still so full of life despite everything he has been through.

He lives for his toys, treats and love. Give him a biscuit and he bolts straight for his kennel to enjoy this without compromise. Give him a toy, and he takes it to his kennel to run round and play without compromise, Haiduc really does live in the moment and it’s so lovely to see.

Haiduc is great with other dogs, he is perhaps not the most confident so he needs a gentle companion in his new home. We are unsure how he is with cats, so a cat free home for him is advisable. We would be happy rehoming him with children of 8+ years who are experienced of being around dogs and are aware of the space and boundaries a dog needs.

Haiduc is very responsive to treats and vocal commands so he will be a super quick learner when it comes to his formal training class, once settled. He should require a degree of toilet training in his forever home and some work on walking on a harness and lead, but we do not envisage issues with any of this for Haiduc – after all he is a smart cookie who is eager to please you.

If you are looking for a gentle, playful loving companion, then look no further than Haiduc. To apply to be considered to give this lovely lad his forever home, then please complete the adoption application form and someone will contact you.
