Harley is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a rescue from Cyprus, who flew to what he hoped would be his forever home. However, due to circumstances beyond his new family’s control he needs to find a new family to love him. He is currently living in our kennels in Atherstone. Here is a little about him: Harley is a gorgeous big bear of a boy. His appearance suggests that he may have some German Shepherd in his mix, and he is certainly a very clever, loyal boy.
Harley is a playful dog who is still a big puppy at heart. He loves playing with ropes, balls and his teddy bears. He also enjoys snoozing on the couch during the day and on the floor at the foot of his mam’s bed during the night. He is house trained and sleeps well through the night. He naps through the day and shows no sign of separation anxiety.
Harley has improved greatly at walking on the lead and currently is walked in his head collar. He is still working on his recall, so his new family would need to continue to help him with that. He can be reactive to other dogs while on the lead which we suspect is just out of frustration. He attends doggy day-care and plays well with the other dogs there. He also shares his home happily with another dog and a cat.
Harley is also good with adults and children. There are 4 children aged 6, 11, 12 and 16 in his current home and he enjoys their company. Harley is a loving playful dog but has no idea of his size and will cuddle up ‘on’ you on the couch. He is still a young boy and can sometimes forget just how big he is. Harley is hoping his new family will have a safe garden for him to play in, and space on their sofa for cuddles.
