Harry is a 12 week old tri-coloured male Lurcher. Harry can only be described as an outstandingly, handsome & beautiful tri-coloured lurcher cross saluki. He, like his female siblings is really stunning looking, he is from the same litter as the four female lurchers. He is full of confidence and eager to learn. He mixes well with other dogs, loves humans and loves hugs and kisses. He loves to play chase with his 4 female siblings and have games of tug. The litter are a mix of Lurcher, Greyhound, Saluki, all stunning and adorable, but Harry is predominately Saluki. They are full of energy, extremely fit and healthy with fantastic coats. They can live with other dogs and are young enough to be trained to live with cats although they are dogs with a high prey drive and we would like children to be over 8 years of age.
We would prefer homes where someone is around all or certainly most of the time to ensure that they develop into well behaved and contented adults. Housetraining and basic training will need to be continued with the pups and we would like the pups to be taken to training classes for basic training and to ensure they become well socialized adult dogs.
A full home-check will be done and one of the main criteria is that the fencing will have to be at least six foot round the garden even if pups are rehomed to a rural location.
Harry has been vet-checked, microchipped, wormed and fully vaccinated but not yet neutered because of his age. He must be neutered when he is old enough, before 12 months old and this forms part of the adoption agreement. Evidence must be sent to us via our/your vet. If rehomed locally, this will be done free at our own vets. Adopters who live further afield are welcome to bring their Moorlands adopted dog back to be spayed.
We also provide four weeks FREE insurance. We do ask that if you wish to adopt a dog and already have one, that you bring it along to see if they get on.
