Harry – 2 year old male Labrador Cross

Harry is approximately 2 year old male Labrador Cross. However he is much smaller than this breed but shows all of the traits – kindness, very gentle, obedient and loyal and will make an excellent family pet. He is neutered and has a clean bill of health with all of his blood tests documented in his passport.

Harry is the sweetest, happiest, always smiling and most gentle boy I know! He is cat tested and dog friendly so can live with your resident dog and cat. He also travels well in a car. Harry is currently in foster care in the Renfrewshire area of Scotland.

He arrived 3 weeks ago and although settling in nicely, we need to find his forever home before Christmas.

Harry is quite shy and reserved so he is not a bouncy dog at all, therefore is better suited to an older or calm resident dog rather than a bouncy puppy. He is used to having other dogs around for company. He would suit any adult age range as he walks very well on a lead and is learning basic commands at the moment.

As Harry is shy, we feel a less busy household would be most suitable to him, so one where the children are above 12 or 13 years old, but we will take all applications on their own merit in order to find the right home.

A secure garden is a must so he can run around and someone who can take him for daily walks. He will do best with someone at home for at least part of the day as he thrives on human contact and just loves being around people. Harry is most definitely a people person – he loves nothing more than strokes, cuddles and affection.

All of our dogs come from Romania and have spent time with our Romanian rescuer either in their home or in suitable kennels until adopted. As we are a small rescue we have only a few dogs in foster in the UK, most are direct adoptions from Romania to the UK.

We offer support throughout the whole process as well as after the dog has arrived which is the most important time of all.

We do not adopt to families with resident children under the age of 7yrs. and try where possible to cat test out dogs. Please note, all our dogs have comprehensive blood works as well as being fully vaccinated/microchipped and registered to the new owner.

We also neutered/spayed responsibly and provide full post adoption support. Home check/application form apply as well as telephone/video call.
