He is a very friendly boy once he gets to know you, before that he is shy and reserved. His initial response is to bark at most things, so his foster is teaching him not to be afraid.

Although he is currently living with another dog, we feel he would be best suited as an only dog and an adult only household. This is because he is very fearful and gets overwhelmed if there are too many people around doing too many things.

Hearty was kept in a kennel for most of his young life so doesn’t have high energy levels at all, short walks are what he needs at the moment. He is still trying to understand life so gets anxious and scared, therefore needs a quiet home that isn’t too busy and has a garden so he can go out whenever he needs to.

Hearty is in foster care in Lancashire and is being taught what life is like outside a kennel, how to walk with a harness and is nearly house trained.

Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Rescue back up from DWB (Scotland).

All of our dogs come from Romania and have spent time with our Romanian rescuer either in their home or in suitable kennels until adopted. As we are a small rescue we have only a few dogs in foster in the UK, most are direct adoptions from Romania to the UK.

We offer support throughout the whole process as well as after the dog has arrived which is the most important time of all.

We do not adopt to families with resident children under the age of 7yrs. and try where possible to cat test out dogs. Please note, all our dogs have comprehensive blood works as well as being fully vaccinated/microchipped and registered to the new owner.

We also neutered/spayed responsibly and provide full post adoption support. Home check/application form apply as well as telephone/video call.
