Hoobee is a 10-12 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a lad, with a black and tan, short coat. He was originally from Spain many years ago.

Hoobee presently lives with three other dogs, of which one is his great pal PIP. Hoobee is good on the lead, but he will bark at other dogs if approached by new dogs he has not met before.

Hoobee is very soft, so we think this is a defence mechanism. Once he knows the dog, he is fine.

Hoobee has never been a problem, once he knows they will not attack him, he is fine with them. Hoobee is a loving dog but likes his own space.

Hoobee loves walks, but can not be let off the lead as he likes to chase and hunt. His mate is PIP, if you can adopt two calm gentle dogs together.

Hoobee is looking for a new retirement home because of a marriage break-up, otherwise, he was very loved by his owners and they thought he would be with them for life.

As he was a rescue dog from Spain used for hunting, he will chase (even at his age he likes to run) so cannot be homed with cats/chickens etc.

Hoobee is a loving dog, and he loves fuss and nothing better than to sit in a comfy place on the sofa. Hoobee would be best in a quiet home with retired adults, and older children.

Hoobee would suit someone who is home and needs a companion and not someone who has cats. He is friendly and loving and walks well on a lead. He is currently located at Waggy Tails Rescue, Bournemouth.
