Hugo is a 2-3 year old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross Bichon Frise. He is good with everyone he meets, he can be barky initially with excitement but is learning to settle quickly in his foster home. They are actively socialising him at every opportunity and he is making good progress.

He is a really loving little chap. Due to limited history and lacking manners older teenagers only please. This is a category no as Hugo has a high prey drive meaning that cats, squirrels, birds and any small furies would be a risk.
Hugo has not lived with other dogs until he arrived in foster, he is adjusting but will need further work on his manners. His lack of interaction with other dogs means that his attempts to initiate play are clumsy and can offend some other dogs. The right combination will be helpful to Hugo going forwards. It is not essential that he is homed with another dog but owners will need to be committed to continuing his training to ensure he continues to build on the progress he has made so far.
There are no known health issues with Hugo, he had his dew claws removed when he was neutered as they were very dangly and could have resented a rip hazard for him. He has settled really well but must be homed where he has access to a garden, he is an energetic boy and is still learning to keep his paws on the floors, he is clean in the home and not destructive but he does love to play.
Hugo is very strong on lead, this is understandable as he had very limited access to exercise in his previous home due to illness. His lack of socialisation means that he can be barky and snappy with other dogs although he has made good progress this will need to continue is his new home, he would benefit from attending further training classes.
This lad is a bright and very energetic boy and he will be best suited to an active home where he will be included in outings and activities, owners who have previous experience with energetic dogs would be great. Potential owners will need to be around for most of the day as Hugo does need human company as this is what he has been used too.
Hugo has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and had his teeth polished. He is up to date with flea and worming treatment. Fostered in Croydon Surrey.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to Croydon Surrey to meet Hugo.
