Ivy is a young Lurcher Pup, 6 months old, she was initially a very bewildered little pup who although still young have experienced a lot of upheaval in her short life. she found the world to be a scary place, so the emphasis in her foster home has been to get her out and about to experience new things. Ivy has have also been to training and she has found this fun because she is a clever girl and very good at it. Ivy loves being stoked and having her belly rubbed it makes her go all soft. She does need a bit more help then other dogs her age but given a bit of time and the security of a kind and loving home she will do really well.
Ivy is an exceptionally bright and affectionate youngster, she is wary of new people, but her curiosity soon wins, and she comes for a fuss. She knows basic commands and learns very fast. Ivy would like a fairly active home that is used to dogs and where someone is around quite a lot. Her new home will need to continue with her training as this is helping build up her confidence. Ivy would be happy as an only dog or an older brother to play with.
