Here we have a brother and sister Izzy (red/brown) and Kobi (black and tan). They are around 4 years of age and both have had a bad start in life. Their pitiful life started when they were pups where they lived in awful conditions until they were thankfully taken in by another rescue while EGLR waited for a foster home to become available. The rescue managed to get them both enjoying walks, but both are very frightened of humans and the outside world. Izzy is responding well now letting her fosterer stroke her and responding to this by wagging her tail. Kobi will take a while longer. Although steady improvements are being made. Izzy and Kobi are both walking well on the lead and mixing with quiet calm dogs.
Experienced adopters required, these 2 lovely hounds have been through so much and it has impacted on their ability to cope with life, lots of patience and understanding will need to be required. Izzy and Kobi come must be rehomed together. They will require a quiet home where things can be done in their own time, where they can become accustomed to people being kind and patient. No children and no cats but other calm dogs are a possibility.
These two deserve a good home, where they will continue to discover the good nature of most humans if you are that special person/s who think you can offer your hearts and home please get in touch with Pip or Linda to find out more.
