It goes without saying that they are a devoted pair and we will only rehome them together. Can be left occasionally: It took a week or two for them to settle into being left, but now they are OK to be left for up to 4 hours with no problem. That being said, they would be happier in a home where someone is at home most of the time. There is a resident dog at their foster home and they have been good with him.

They have also been been lovely with any other dog they have met out and about. They have not been specifically cat tested, but being typical terriers they do like to chase anything that runs, though they have never been a real problem with this. As they have no experience of living with cats, we’ll be looking for a cat-free home for them. These two sweethearts are not used to living with children and they enjoy a quiet life.

Jade can be quite anxious when things get noisy, so we are looking for a home for them without children, though calm, visiting teenage children should be fine. Jack and Jade’s favourite pastimes: Sitting with you being fussed, and following you wherever you go. They are easy to have. Jade will worry if you drop anything noisy, or move too fast towards her, but she is easily reassured.

Jack & Jade’s ideal home is a quiet, adult-only home with people who are retired or work from home. They are both neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and have been wormed and flea treated. Jack has a heart murmur and is on daily medication (Cardisure). Their foster carer tries to not let them get too excited, just to be on the safe side bearing in mind Jack’s condition, but they can still have fun and Jack has never seemed to have ill-effects from his condition.
