(Rehomed) Jaffa – 7 year old male English Cocker Spaniel

Jaffa is around 7 years old and is being fostered in the West Midlands. He is a special boy; very calm, gentle and well behaved. He loves to be near you. He has had a dental recently and had to have 6 teeth removed. He has mild ectropion of the lower eye lids which is common in the breed. He has been friendly towards everyone he has met so far and happy to have a fuss from them. He is fine with children over 7 years old. The few dogs he has met he has been fine with. He lives with other dogs in his foster home but doesn’t really interact with them. As an ex-breeding dog he will need to live with another dog in his new home.

[rehomed]

Jaffa hasn’t been cat tested. Jaffa has improved his toileting tremendously and will only have an occasion wee in the house. He sleeps on the bed with his foster home and another dog. He has shown no interest in toys. He would prefer to follow foster mum around the house but is fine the door is shut. He is not a barker but will occasionally give a little whine, only for a minute or two. He’s been left for up to two hours with another dog for company and has been okay (as he has been watched on the dog cam!)

Jaffa hasn’t started his course of vaccinations yet so hasn’t been out on walks. On the occasional trip to vets he had behaved very well both in the car and at the vets. Jaffa would fit in to most households; he is not boisterous so would be fine with children of around 7+. He needs to live with another dog and would prefer his humans to be around for the majority of the day.

Jaffa is neutered, chipped, just about to start his course of vaccinations and is up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in West Midlands.

If you are interested in adopting Jaffa please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form ( link here ) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
