Jake is a 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. After struggling at the pound, this adorable boy is now in kennels in the UK. He is quite a vulnerable and anxious soul. Jake needs a family with lots of experience with Staffordshire Bull Terriers who can work with him and help to reduce his anxiety.

We are looking for a rural or semi-rural home near Lincolnshire. With someone willing to foster Jake, with a view to adopting. Jake is a very active boy and will enjoy an active family who know the breed and can deal with his very enthusiastic manners.

Jake does mouth when excited, so he will need someone familiar with this behaviour who will be able to cope and willing to work with us so we can teach him not to do this, using positive reward methods. Jake loves playing, he is a high energy dog who will need lots of physical stimulation and time.

If you are familiar with the breed, live near Lincolnshire, have time, patience, experience and have had dogs before, we encourage you to ask for this wonderful boy. Jake needs a family so much. You may have to be prepared to work with a behaviourist, this will be at your own expense.

Jake cannot live with other dogs or small furies and no children under 14. Jake is not suitable dog for first time owners or city dwellers. We know that in the right home Jake will be a lovely companion.

Jake is approximately 50cm in height and 15 kg.

Spanish Stray Dogs UK is a UK registered charity set up in 2012.

Our SCIO charity number is SC043486 and we are regulated by the OSCR. We search for kind, caring, patient forever families in the UK to adopt Spanish Stray dogs that have been rescued from the streets of Spain.

Our dogs have mostly known sadness, cruelty and have only known a life of neglect and abuse. If you would like to offer one of our dogs a home please contact us.

As well as searching for forever families to adopt our dogs, we also fund-raise for money that can help pay transport costs and cover things like vet bills for our dogs.
