Jason is a 4-5 year old male Cross-Breed. He is small to medium sized Cross-Breed. He was independently brought to the UK recently from Romania and placed straight in an adoptive home. Unfortunately Jason was nervous and the adopters were not experienced enough to help him get accustomed to life in a home so we were asked to take him in.
Initially Jason was very head shy and afraid but within a few days he was following his foster mum around and had even cracked lead training. We very quickly noticed that his right rear leg was crooked and have had this checked by our vet. It would appear that a long time ago Jason broke his femur and, left untreated, it healed crookedly on its own. Our vet advised to leave the leg alone as it causes him no pain and he uses it, he may well get arthritis in later life.
Jason is a quiet boy who gets on well with other dogs. He would like a quiet and patient family preferably with another dog but not essentially. Jason is still scared of new people so anyone interested in adopting him must understand he will take a few days to be comfortable around them. Jason travels well in a car and can be left home alone for reasonable periods of time with no issues.
