This pup is Jessie who is 6 months old and will be a small medium sized dog when fully grown (around 12-13kg). She is in foster in Gloucestershire. Jessie is a pretty girl with a black and tan coloured coat. She has a slim build – she is 9kg at the moment.
Jessie has settled in really well and quickly to her foster home. She is friendly and loving, always wagging her tail. She is getting on with the 8 other dogs she is living with, and we think would be great for her to live with another dog in the home.
She is fine with the grumpy teenager too! Because she is quite boisterous, we will only home her with children over 11 years old. Like all puppies she is playful and mischievous and into everything! She is an energetic girl and will need plenty of exercise in her new home. We think she would make a great dog to train for agility. She will be cat tested in a few days.
We can not home a puppy to people who work full time or long hours. Pups take up a lot of time and they need someone at home a lot of the day. Jessie will need a lot of socialisation with as many adults, children, dogs (puppies and adults), and other animals as possible. She needs to become used to a wide range of events, environments and situations.
Jessie is starting house training, and lead training will start in a few days. Jessie was saved along with her 5 siblings from a horrible public shelter with their Mum. They were quickly moved to a private shelter in Bucharest.
She is too young to be neutered, but this needs to be done as part of our adoption contract when she is old enough. She is vaccinated and microchipped and has a passport.
Homecheck and adoption fees apply.
