Jimmy – 2-3 year old male Cross-Breed

Jimmy is a 2-3 year old male Cross-Breed. This beautiful little boy was found a couple of months ago in the public shelter and has lived at our vets since then as he is blind. Our vet has been trying to determine the reason for his blindness and we now think he was hit on the head by someone or something.

Jimmy needs a very special home where he can settle and adapt to his new surroundings with a calm and gentle adopter to guide him. Jimmy is a wonderfully gentle and accepting boy who really enjoys attention. He will blossom in a new home with lost of love and attention.

Please be sure you can care for a blind boy before applying for him as we would not want Jimmy to have to move after he is adopted as this would be too unsettling for him.

Current location is in Romania but can travel to the UK (once he/she has a home to go to) through the UK Charity under contract. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, Neutered (if old enough), Microchipped, Pet Passport.

For Dogs coming from Romania: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog, microchip, passport, vaccines, neutering, parasite treatment and transport to the UK

Bid to Save a Stray / Friends of Targoviste Rescued Dogs works primarily with a private Romanian shelter to re-home dogs throughout UK and Europe who have been rescued from the brutal Public Shelters of Romania. We nurse, care for and nurture damaged and injured dogs until they are well enough to be re-homed. We educate potential adopters on good animal care and offer a full back up service to all our adopters. Please note this rescue will microchip, vaccinate and spay/neuter all dogs before rehoming. A home check and donation fee applies.
