Karla is a medium size 5 year old female Cross-Breed. She was rescued four years ago from being brutally killed at a closing public shelter in Romania. Since then she has been in private foster until recently when she finally came to the UK.
Karla is a quiet, shy girl who is making good progress with lead training and learning to trust. Although not ready to come for fuss, she certainly let’s you know how happy she is to see you when you return home.
Karla gets on with the other dogs in the house and has shown interest in playing. Karla loves her food and is beginning to take treats from your hand. She is a sweet girl who needs a home that is not too busy and with another more confident dog. She will also need time, patience and understanding to continue to build her confidence and trust bring out her best.
“Karla is continuing to progress well, now enjoying walks and comes for her lead to be put on. She still finds this part quite daunting but is improving all the time. She is also showing interest in human touch and will dance around in front of you, still a little nervous to make that step towards fuss, but will touch your hand with her nose now. She really is a delight to have around, such a happy dog. Just needs her own home with a family that can take her to the next level.”
Karla is turning into the most amazing little dog, she is still hand shy but will go to her safe place where she enjoys a fuss when you take off or put on her lead. She has been so well behaved she now has the freedom of a trailing lead so she can explore further. She never strays far and comes when she’s called. She will tell you when she wants to go outside and is well behaved when left. She is fostered Gorleston, Norfolk.
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered). If you are interested please message or call between 9am to 5pm Mon – Fri 9am to 4pm Sat.
