A great big friendly giant is waiting for his chance to hop onto that happy bus.

Kenny is a 5 year old large male Shepherd Cross, born on 01.01.2019.

Kenny is vaccinated, Blood tested and microchipped. He is neuter and vet checked. He will be Flea and worm-treated.

Kenny’s story: This beautiful loyal soul belonged to a farmer who didn’t care for him or feed him. The locals knew Kenny very well as he used to walk 6 miles every day into town to find food. And being the loyal boy he was made his journey back to his farmer every day, despite not having any love or any food.

But one day Kenny didn’t arrive back to his farmer as the public shelter dog catchers caught him and sent him to a public shelter Lancram in Romania. For a boy who was so used to his freedom, this was heartbreaking for Kenny now being locked in a cage. A lovely lady couldn’t bear the sadness in his eyes and so Kenny was rescued and placed into a safe shelter where he had the freedom of the field to continue his adventures.

Personality: Kenny is extremely calm and gentle and gets along great with the other dogs in the shelter. Kenny absolutely loves his freedom And is most happy when he has ample space to roam and explore. He loves being out in the field with his fellow pals, This is when Kenny feels at his best and happiest.

It would be wonderful to find Kenny an experienced home that has maybe some secure, private, land or a good sized secure garden? Extremely friendly boy with his carers. Kenny is never too far behind them. a giant teddy bear!!! Looking for love?

Meeting new people: Initially, when Kenny arrived at a safe shelter He was quite reserved and shy. But Kenny couldn’t refuse the tasty chicken treats and soon came around. It is understandable that he needed a little bit of time to decompress. Since being in a safe shelter he has gained confidence and is such a lovely boy.

Dog test: Kenny definitely gains his confidence from other dogs and enjoys spending his time out on the field with all the other dogs.

Cat test: Kenny hasn’t met a cat yet but it is possible to test him should that be required.

Home alone: Kenny doesn’t currently live in a home environment but he is nondestructive in his shelter. Adopters will have to understand though that he may be a little unsettled within the first few days of entering a new home with a new routine and new people. Giving him time to decompress and adjust to his new home is key in supporting him.

Health problems: Kenny has no known health problems, allergies or intolerances. It is suggested that due to his size and age, he has some supplements to support his joints. We recommend yumove.

Travelling: Kenny has traveled previously in a crate comfortably.

Home needs: A home with children over 15 years of age. This includes visiting and resident children to the property INCLUDING. grandchildren, nieces/nephews, friend’s children. Secure garden or land essential?

A calm and friendly female canine would help Kenny adjust to his new home
