Kiko is a 4 year old male Ibizan Hound (Podenco) Cross. He is a medium-sized dog and he is in a refuge in Spain until he has a home to go to. He is an extremely pretty boy, and is getting more confident with people, but he will need an understanding adopter who can help him to build up his trust in humans.
Poor Kiko is a nervous lad and will need a dog savvy home with someone who can help him overcome his fears. A confident and calm dog in the home will help him hugely. If you are up for a bit of a project in turning Kiko around, we are sure he will make a wonderful pet. It is so sad that he has never lived in a home before, and each year he is in the refuge will not have helped him.
In October 2017 Kiko was found with his two sisters in a local village. His sisters came easily to our volunteers and have subsequently been happily rehomed. However, Kiko was by far the most nervous and took much longer to catch.
Kiko so deserves a fresh start with someone who can show him what life should be about! We will not home him with children, as he will be a work in progress and will take up a lot of time. Kiko will need training in all aspects. He is neutered, vaccinated, blood tested, microchipped, and has a passport.
All our Spanish dogs travel from Southern Spain to the UK on DEFRA approved transport to your door.
