Despite her time in the shelter after being found as a stray post-Christmas, no one has come forward to claim her, and without a microchip, her past ownership remains a mystery.

Settling into the shelter surprisingly well, Klea is a beautiful and friendly dog with a penchant for attention and cuddles. She can be a bit bouncy initially, but the moment you start petting her or rubbing her tummy, she melts with affection.

While her enthusiasm for people is evident, there are subtle signs that suggest she may have experienced mistreatment in the past, as sudden movements make her slightly wary.

Klea currently shares her kennel with a larger female dog, and they coexist harmoniously. Their interactions are more snuggles than play, as their characters differ, but Klea demonstrates a good understanding of her kennel mate’s boundaries.

She may get a little too exuberant at times, prompting a warning growl, but she quickly backs off, meaning no harm.

This intelligent dog shows great potential for training, making her an ideal match for a family willing to invest in her development. Klea thrives in an active environment, preferably semi-rural or outside the city, with access to a secure garden.

Due to her exuberance, it’s recommended that she goes to a home with children aged 8 and above who can handle her enthusiasm without getting knocked over easily.

While Klea hasn’t been tested with cats, it is suggested that a home without resident felines would be more suitable, though she is confident about coexisting with other dogs.

In the short time she’s spent in the shelter, Klea has left a positive impression on volunteers, and her potential as a loyal and loving companion awaits the right family.

Based in Cyprus, Klea is ready to travel to her forever home, bringing with her a clean bill of health and a heart full of love.
