My name is Kya and I am a 10 month old German Shepherd Cross. I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I came to the rescue as I was not getting along with the resident dog in the home.

It’s clear I have had little structured socialisation with other dogs and need an experienced home as an only dog, with a family who is willing to go right back to basics whilst I am still young. I cannot live with cats or small furries.

I am a very sweet and friendly girl with people and am learning not to jump up to say hi! I was very shy when I came to kennels but am now enjoying meeting lots of new people.

I love my walks and need a little more training to help me walk nicely on the lead.

I am looking for a home that can provide lots of mental stimulation and exercise as well as being competent in training. I would like a home where someone is at home for the majority of the day,

I have lived with young children but would suit a home with someone who has a lot of time for me, and this isn’t always possible for those with young families.

I was a perfect patient at my vet visits and really will thrive with a home committed to helping me reach my full potential as a well-rounded and well-socialised best friend!!!
