Laika is a 1-2 year old female Spanish Greyhound. She was rescued from an unscrupulous hunter in Spain, where she has not been treated with kindness.
Laika’s days are over now as only a bright future lies ahead of this lovely young girl.
We are looking for an experienced home for Laika, with someone patient enough to do justice to her needs, with a desire to understand her and build her confidence, enabling her to flourish and live the rest of her life to its full.
We want someone with time and willingness, to teach Laika how it feels to be a loved friend and family member, rather than the slave she has been. A secure garden is essential.
Laika is very scared of people, so we must reiterate that an experienced adopter is essential, with at least one other friendly dog in the household.
It is impossible not to fall in love with Laika and whoever is fortunate enough to adopt her, is guaranteed eternal love and gratitude. She is perfect with other dogs and must be homed with at least one.
Laika longs for the opportunity for a forever human, who will treat her with the care and kindness that she so deserves, for the rest of her life.
