Lance, is a medium to large 10 year old male Cross-Breed. He is fostered Camberley Surrey. Lance was a lovely and very friendly homeless dog from the Hunedoara district in Romania. He and his brother Coockie became homeless when their owner died, then they were both put on the street. When the owner was alive both dogs lived 24/7 on a chain.
Lance has an old fracure in his leg which was left untreated and healed wrong which has left him with a slight limp. Both dogs were brought to a castration campaign by our friends at dog rescue Norway and they took them under their wing to prevent them being released into a life in the street.
Lance is now here in the U.K. and his fosterer says: Lance is a total sweetheart who loves being made a fuss of and snoozing in a comfy bed. He likes people including children and other dogs but would not be suitable for a home with a cat. He walks nicely on the lead unless he spots a squirrel but he doesn’t pull excessively. He has a very short tail and a slight limp from an old fracture on one of his back legs.
This doesn’t bother him very much and he’s still quite an active dog. He’s a happy chap who will give lots of love and devotion to you. As he gets older he may need some pain relief for that old injury but in all fairness most dogs get arthritis in later life in some form. This is a super dog who will give you so much in return.
