Lara is a 4 year old female Greyhound. She has been in foster for the last month with a male Lurcher. She is a very happy little lady and a super sweet and affectionate little soul who is always pleased to see humans and get lots of fuss and cuddles. She’s happily greeted visitors to her foster home and is always pleased to see people out and about.
She doesn’t need particularly long walks but she does love to go out and is always excited to go on her walks. She walks well on the lead and is learning about other breeds of dogs, her socialisation needs continuing with dogs, particularly smaller ones.
She walks well with the male lurcher she is in foster with, and her fosterers are introducing her gradually to other dogs . With regular socialisation she will settle down with other dogs.
She has been left alone for a couple of hours at a time with no issues. As long as she has had a walk, she will settle down and sleep. After having a few accidents at first, she is now house trained but would be better with a garden, she likes to potter about on grass as a pose to a smaller yard for example. She does love her toys, she loves throwing her fluffy toys about and loves a licki mat with pate on !
She would be happy as an only dog so long as she has company , or with another male Hound/s. She is not cat friendly. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and flead and wormed. She can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful home check.
