Lovely Laura is an 8 year old female Cross-Breed. She is looking for her retirement home. Her passport states she’s 8, but we think she actually maybe a bit older than that. When she arrived in to her foster home she broke our hearts a little bit, her hard life is written all over her body, her face is scared, she had sores across her hips from constant flea bites, she has a broken tail and was pitifully thin. She quickly discovered the soft comfy beds and pretty much stayed there for 2 weeks, only getting up to go to the toilet or for her food.
Now she is rested and healed she’s starting to have a bit more interest in her surroundings, she’ll get up for a wander around and a potter in the garden, she likes to have a gentle explore on a walks but still doesn’t go to far. She enjoys a fuss now, when she arrived she was hand shy and would crouch when approached but now she actually seeks out attention and love’s a cuddle.
She lives well with the other dogs in the foster home, but we would love her to find a home where she can relax as an only dog or with a dog that won’t bother her where she can enjoy her well deserved home comforts. Laura is fostered in South Shields.
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered). If you are interested please message or call between 9am to 5pm Mon – Fri 9am to 4pm Sat.
