Lenny is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed. He is currently in Hampshire. He is looking for an adult cat-free home. He is a very playful boy that loves his toys, chewing on his horn and doggy peanut butter. Lenny accepts a collar, harness and lead and enjoys his long walks, He loves playing with other dogs both on a walk and during his time at doggy daycare.
He can still be a bit nervous about some people and larger dogs and will occasionally bark at them, he prefers to walk with 2 people but will happily go with one walker when other dogs are present, so please bear in mind he will need some extra training in this area. Lenny can share his home with another dog following a slow careful introduction.
Fostering a rescue dog is not something to take on lightly, they need full commitment and a lot of work and patience to allow them to blossom. There may be many challenges to overcome so please ensure full commitment before applying.
Lenny is fully toilet trained although can have odd accidents when nervous, he sleeps well overnight in his crate and can be left for 2 hours without any problems although please be aware this may change during the settling-in period. Lenny can suffer from travel sickness and will need further training to help him get used to traveling in the car.
Lenny enjoys a fuss once he’s had time to build a bond with his new family, he is just as happy to take himself off to his crate when he feels like it. We always advise sensible and slow introductions to family members and other pets.
