Leo is a small to medium sized Spaniel cross of around five years old, fostered near Norwich, Norfolk. Leo is one of five siblings that we rescued rescued from the Radauti shelter in Romania last year. They had each spent their whole lives in grim captivity and as such arrived here undersocialised and inexperienced. Leo went to a home with one of his brothers but unfortunately had to be returned to us recently due to behaviours around the man in the household which we feared he was beginning to pass on and teach to his brother too.
Leo is a sweet boy with those he loves and is doing well in his foster home. Away from his brother he is perhaps more open to training and learning about the world around him and it is improving his confidence and diluting his fear of men. Of course an all female hone environment would be the easiest option for all concerned but we do feel he is able to accept a man in the household now and has been okay with visiting men in his foster home.
Leo mixes well with other dogs and walks well on a lead, we have also had him off lead and he was very well behaved. Leo travel well in a car and can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of time with no known issues.
Our adoption fee is £250. The dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless they are too young). If you are interested please message or call between 9am and 6pm.
