This lovely, gentle, large lad is Leo, a 3 year old Spanish Mastin. He has a beautiful, thick, Honey Tiger marking on his coat, white chest and unusual facial markings.
This handsome boy came to our attention because he has been waiting in a pound so long for a new home!
Leo is beautifully trained, used to living inside, and a striking looking dog with a beautiful coat, affectionate with people and social with other dogs.
He is affectionate and quite playful, calm, and avoids conflict. He walks perfectly well on a leash and is currently in a private boarding facility with other dogs.
Leo is wary of men for the first few days of living with him and so we flag this to ask new owners to be patient with this as he may bark, as it soon changes. He needs to have space to trust men.
Due to Leo’s size, we think he is better homed with children over 10 years and he can live with other dogs or as an only dog.
He is used to the lead he will thrive in a rural environment, maybe a farm, small holding or large gardens, and a family used to walking or other outside activities. He ignores cats.
