Lexy is a 2-3 year old female Doberman. Lexy is a sad looking girl who has come to us as she is no longer required for breeding. She is in quite poor condition and we have decided to wait until she has gained some weight before neutering her. She is, as you would expect, very nervous. She does not know how to walk on a lead, knows nothing of life in the home and is so very scared of most things normal to home life.
She will need patient and kind owners who understand how scary life is for her at the moment and are happy to allow her to move at her own pace. Lexy will need to be re homed with at least one other similar sized to dog to help give her confidence and to show her what life as a loved pet is all about. She would like her new owners to be around for a good part of the day as she can bark if left for long periods.
Lexy could be re homed with older teenagers who understand she is nervous and will need time to settle. She does travel well in the car, this is largely due to being so fearful she doesn’t move. She is currently on foster in Bracknell Berkshire. Lexy will be neutered prior to being adopted. She has had her first vaccination, been micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatments. Home checks and set donation apply.
