Lionel is an 8 month old male Cross-Breed. He is still looking for his very own family. Lionel was born in January 2023. Lionel currently weighs 16 kilos.
Lionel is an extremely cute and shy pup. He was raised alongside his brother Ritchie and rabbits.
Lionel is living with his foster family, who has three cats. He only shows interest when they cry for food and ignores them when they come face-to-face.
Lionel loves going outside for walks, the dog park, and mixing with all the other dogs. He is very friendly and sociable, with dogs. On the field, he will approach and say hi to people.
Lionel is more nervous in the lead. Lionel is gaining confidence all the time, but new sounds initially frighten him. However, with reassurance, he has been improving every day.
Lionel is motivated by food but doesn’t become aggressive when it comes to food. He has learned some manners while receiving treats.
Lionel is in foster care in Warrington with two small and lively podencos. Lionel will need a family who has patience and is willing to put the time in to carry on the work with him, especially around socialisation with people.
Lionel would benefit from being with an older dog for company, show him the ropes and help build his confidence.
