Loki is a 2-3 year old male Border Collie Cross. He is thick-coated, weighs 25kg, about 21″ to the shoulder. Loki spent the first 18 months of his life in a rural farm environment and is used to being around other dogs and sheep.

He was then rehomed, but struggled to cope with being exposed to busy crowded places with fast-moving objects such as joggers and cyclists. In these situations he was exhibiting typical Collie herding behaviour of lunging and nipping.
Since being back at Lurcher Link, Loki has been going on group walks with the other dogs, and is now walked in a Gentle Leader headcollar. The walks are fairly quiet, but there is some passing traffic and Loki has been really well behaved; his lunging behaviour has stopped. However he will still need to be muzzled if walked in busy urban environments.
Ideally Loki would be best rehomed somewhere not too urban and busy, where he can continue to enjoy quieter walks. Loki can jump high and needs a secure garden. Loki is very bright and willing to learn. Could be a possible fly-ball or agility dog. Older children only.
Microchipped, wormed, vaccinated and neutered. Loki is at LURCHER LINK RESCUE, near Halifax, West Yorkshire.
