Loki – 3 year old male Cross-Breed

Loki is a 3 year old male Cross-Breed. He originally came to the UK as a young pup and he was quickly adopted. He is from Bulgaria. He was brought into Dogs4Rescue when some behavioral issues developed in the home. Loki is a friendly boy but does like his independence. He is very intelligent and responds well to training which is something that will need to be continued in the home.

Loki loves to exercise, whether that’s going for a long walk or playing fetch with his toys. Due to his working drive, we do feel Loki would excel in agility or fly ball as that will offer him mental stimulation as well as challenge him physically.

In his previous home, Loki did show some resource-guarding behavior which is something that may occur in any new home he goes to. Our training manager Frankie is on hand to help with this so we can ensure it is dealt with correctly from the beginning and not allowed to develop.

Although Loki gets along with other dogs and shows no reactivity to them on walks, we do feel that he would benefit from being the only dog in the home.

Loki does require a significant amount of attention and will need ongoing work, so we are also looking for an adult-only experienced home.
