Lucy is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed. She was rescued in Cyprus. She was flown to the UK to help her find her forever home and is currently living in Ivybridge. Here is a little about her: Lucy is such a gorgeous girl and settled in beautifully to home life in this country. She is a medium size weighing around 20 kg.
She is housetrained and sleeps well through the night. She walks well in her Walk with Love harness and her recall in the garden is good however, she can suffer with deafness when she finds a nice scent whilst out and about. More work is needed on her recall, but Lucy is very intelligent and loves playing learning games. She has gone running with someone on a couple of occasions and comes back barely panting having thoroughly enjoyed herself.
Lucy is fast and agile, and we hope to find her a home with a safe, secure garden where fencing is at least 6 feet high. Lucy loves to play fetch with her ball. She also enjoys playing with other dogs. Lucy does love her food and behaves well when eating in the company of the other dogs in her household. She adores children and will play but can be boisterous so older, dog savvy children are probably best. Lucy loves to play with the 2-year-old granddaughter of her current carer, but every so often she forgets herself and can knock her over in her playfulness.
Lucy is happy being left for up to 4 hours when she has the company of another dog. She will chase any small furries such as cats, rabbits and squirrels so perhaps best that she does not share her new home with one. Lucy is hoping to find a family who enjoy being out an about with her and who perhaps have another dog for her to play with and to keep each other company.
If you can offer this gorgeous girl a loving forever home, we would love to hear from you. She has been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Minimum adoption donation of £300 applies. ADOPTION IS SUBJECT TO A HOME CHECK.
Post adoption support is available from our charity.
