Lucy – 12 year old female Lhasa Apso

Lucy is a 12 year old female Lhasa Apso. She is in a foster home in Whitley Bay, waiting for someone to offer her a permanent, loving home. Likes to have company: Lucy would not be happy in a home with full-time workers and just a break at lunchtime as she does enjoy having her people around.

Living with dogs and cats: Lucy could live with another calm dog but it’s unknown how she is with cats. Fine with children: Lucy tends to keep out of the way if they are too noisy or boisterous. She has met a visiting 3 year old many times without any problem.

Lucy’s favourite things: Treats, treats and more treats! Lucy’s dislikes: She’s not really frightened but does like to keep out of the way if there is too much noise. Lucy’s ideal home: Her perfect home would be a quieter one with someone around for company most of the time.

Health notes: Lucy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea-treated. She has Cushings Disease and life-long treatment is required. She is presently prescribed 2 x 10mg Vetoryl twice daily.
