Lulu is a 5 year old female Bichon Frise. Her beloved owner sadly passed away and last summer she was placed with another family but has unfortunately found herself back in our care. Lulu was returned to us after she had bitten the older man in the home when he tried to get her to move off the furniture. Lulu is quite a timid little girl and it does take time for her to build trust but with gentle introductions she soon comes out of her shell and her sweet, playful character shines through. She enjoys sitting on your knee to be stroked but this does have to be on her terms as she is not too fond of being picked up and cuddled.
Lulu did live with another dog in her last home but she could be quite bossy. She seems to respond better to bigger dogs on walks and can be reactive towards smaller dogs. We do feel that she would be best suited to being the only pet in the home. In the home Lulu is clean and non-destructive and can be left alone for up to 4 hours.
We are looking for an adult only, experienced home for Lulu. Lulu’s new family will need to spend some time at the rescue in order to form a bond with her before adoption. This will then progress into a slow introduction into the home so please do bare your location in mind before inquiring about her.
Overall Lulu is a lovely girl who will make a delightful companion in the right home with a sensible owner who understands her needs.
